As you are probably aware, the criticism over the pulling of the film Vaxxed: From Cover Up To Catastrophe lead to an in-depth investigation into the actual ownership of the Tribeca Film Festival, leading us down the rabbit hole into the land of billionaires and Big Pharma and, of course, prominent politicians. Looking back at the statement from Robert Di Nero on the removal of the film, was the sudden interest of the “scientific community” that reached out to him before any more coverage of the film could take place in mainstream media. Clearly the “scientific community” he was referring to, was the sponsors of the Tribeca Film Festival.
Of course, when we put out such a widely shared article feedback comes in from commenters and anonymous tips. These have led to some very interesting notes regarding the sponsorship of the festival with some very familiar names. When this occurs we feel that it is in the public best interest to provide what has been shared.
We present to you, as presented to us, the list of the 2014 Tribeca Sponsors.
We have verified a number of the actual donors and see quite a few of the usual suspects in the highly profitable business of vaccination.
Bill & Melinda Gates
Alfred P. Sloan Foundation
We have vetted a number of names on the document and this list does appear on the surface to be accurate, but we have not verified all of it in its entirety.
The Bill & Melinda Gates foundation has been documented here numerous times and we will not go further into them in this post. But the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation deserves a closer look at the list of donors. Keep in mind that the Sloan Foundation is one of the largest sponsors of the festival. Let’s have a look at one of the trustees, just so you are aware of the type of “scientific community” that we are dealing with.
Dr. Peter S. Kim (Wikipedia) aka the Godfather of Gardasil:
Peter S. Kim, Ph.D., is an American scientist. He was president of Merck Research Laboratories (MRL), 2003-2013
Kim also served as a member of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Advisory Committee to develop an AIDS vaccine.[3]
Kim joined the Company in 2001 as executive vice president, Research and Development. He was promoted to president in January 2003. In this role Kim oversaw all of Merck’s drug and vaccine research and development activities.[4][5]
During his tenure, Merck gained approval of more than 20 new medicines and vaccines. These include Januvia (the first DPP-4 inhibitor for type 2 diabetes), Gardasil(the first vaccine for prevention of cervical cancer), Isentress (the first HIV integrase inhibitor), Zostavax (the first vaccine for the prevention of shingles in adults),Rotateq (an oral vaccine for the prevention of rotavirus infection in infants), and Victrelis (the first hepatitis C protease inhibitor).
Why is the President of Merck, the Godfather of Gardasil, sitting on the board of one of the largest sponsors of the Tribeca Film Festival?
I am afraid that as the layers of this onion that is Tribeca, are peeled back, Vaxxed: From Cover Up To Catastrophe never had a shot at being shown at Tribeca Film Festival. I can’t imagine any documentary questioning the “scientific community”, will never see the light of day at this festival.
They did succeed in taking this movie and turning it into a movement.
