Everyone knows about the evils of HFCS (high-fructose corn syrup), whether it's the environmental damage caused by genetically modified monocrops or the health side effects like diabetes. And of course, soft drinks tend to have some of the highest concentrations of this stuff.

As the folks at Bev-Review.com have revealed, at some point in the middle of April, PBV (Pepsi Bottling Ventures) will begin distributing Pepsi Throwback and Mountain Dew Throwback, which come in retro-designed cans and are made with sugar instead of HFCS. This comes after a few successful ventures in the UK (Pepsi Raw) and Mexico (Pepsi Retro).

Although it's unclear whether these products will be coming to Canada as well as the U.S., it's a safe bet they will. And if not, well, make sure to stock up during Passover, which is coming up soon (April 8th, to be exact).
