Grant will be used for mental health screenings
The Partnership for Results in Cayuga County has received a $147,545 grant from the state Health Foundation for its Resilience Project.
The Resilience Project will screen all children in kindergarten through grade three in four rural districts for developing mental health and behavior problems, according to a news release issued by the foundation. With parental permission, trained staff provide skill development sessions for up to 13 weeks.
