As founder of Mission Possible International with operations in most states and over 30 countries of the world warning all consumers off aspartame, I have worked with the world experts to further their information to save lives. We are a volunteer force, take the case histories and forward physician information and support to the victims. Having done this for 14 years, 7 days a week, I can tell you we have a global epidemic beyond anything imaginable.
Consider a generation of children affected by the neurotoxin aspartame. When a mother tells me she used Diet Coke with aspartame through three pregnancies and has three autistic children you know it has destroyed an entire family. Then add to this that aspartame interacts with vaccines.

It was H. J. Roberts, M.D., who testified before Congress and at his first press conference years ago said if nothing was done immediately in 5 or 10 years we would have a global plague on our hands. This quotes Dr. Roberts medical text on the subject and Dr. James Bowen explains that because aspartame damages the mitocondria it will react with all drugs - period. As a chemical hypersensitization agent it will react with all vaccines and toxins, and other unsafe sweeteners like Splenda which is in reality a chlorocarbon poison, liberating chlorine.

In l996 world renowned neuroscientist Dr. John Olney made world news on the aspartame and brain tumor issue. Dr. Ralph Walton joined Dr. Olney on 60 Minutes and exposed research showing that 92 per cent of all independent, scientific peer reviewed studies showed the problems that aspartame causes. How can you do a study on a poison and it not show it? If you eliminate 6 studies that the FDA had something to do with because after approval they gave their loyalty to the manufacturer, and one pro-aspartame summary, 100% of independent scientific peer reviewed studies showed aspartame problems. Dr. Walton says "We have known for years that when aspartame is ingested with a carbohydrate real meal the usual physiologic increase in tryptophan is blocked while brain phenylalanine and tyrosine concentrations are increased. These changes in amino acid neurotransmitter precursors could alter indoleamine/catecholamine balance, and thus have a profound effect on mood and cognition - depressed mood, anxiety, dizziness, panic attacks, nausea, irritability, impairment of memory and concentration." Dr. Walton did his own study on aspartame.

Dr. Olney along with Attorney James Turner tried to prevent approval of aspartame. Dr. Olney did studies on aspartic acid in l970 and found it caused lesions in the brains of mice. He found the field of neuroscience called excitotoxicity. Aspartic acid as an isolate is an excitotoxin, a product that literally stimulates the neurons of the brain to death causing brain damage. He knew what this would do to the brains of our children, as it is 40% of the aspartame molecule. And in combination with MSG it is a sure way to destroy a brain. He provided a report to the Board of Inquiry which I have detailing what would happen to our children if approved, and the FDA agreed. They revoked the petition for approval. It wasn't just that the FDA did not want aspartame approved, they wanted the original manufacturer indicted for fraud. Politics and money again prevailed. Both U.S. Prosecutors, Sam Skinner and William Conlon, hired on with the defense team and the statute of limitations expired. I spoke to Jerome Bressler personally and he said that the studies were so horrible that when FDA retyped his report they omitted the worst 20%. Doctors Blaylock and Roberts also got this information from Jerome Bressler and Dr. Roberts asked his congressman to get the missing information. The FDA refused, the congressman.
I personally wrote a Citizen Petition for ban of aspartame based on the fact that I have the government documents that show aspartame is a literal chemical poison and the FDA is lying to the public. The law requires it be answered in 180 days but the FDA said they have more important things to do. One of them is serving above the law. It has now been over 3 years. Here is that petition:

Today we are taking brain tumor cases from New York, New Jersey, Madison County, Illinois and Mississippi for litigation. In July a 3 year study on aspartame was conducted in Italy which showed malignant brain tumors, lymphoma and leukemia. In September at a conference further information was released on this study adding kidney cancer and cancer of the peripheral nerves, especially cranial. Dr. Russell Blaylock said every mother should be terrified. Anyone reading these facts should be terrified and today the Board of Pharmacy can review them and save the citizens of New Mexico setting a precedent for the world to follow. Entire families have been destroyed. As James Bowen, M.D., wrote in Aspartame Murders Infants: "Aspartame destroys beginning with the gleam in Mom and Pop's eyes, it ruins female sexual response and induces male sexual dysfunction. Beyond this, aspartame disrupts fetal development by aborting it or inducing defects. And if a live child is born aspartame may have heinously damaged the DNA of the baby, cursing future generations."
