If we explore the history of Monsanto, we see much more than the largest producer of herbicides and genetically modified (GM) seeds in the world. We see outright deception, lies, fraud, and a full awareness of the catastrophic damage they have willfully inflicted on human beings. A recent widely publicized study on GM corn fed rats has gone viral, however there are no conclusions in this study that Monsanto (despite denying it) was not already aware of. They've known the cancer causing effects of GM seeds all along, and simply ignored the truth so they could further poison mass populations with their products.

For over hundred years, Monsanto has evolved from primarily an industrial chemical concern into a pure agricultural products company. Although they are best known today for their agricultural biotechnology GMO products, the company has a long and dirty history of polluting the world with some of the most toxic compounds known to humankind.

Believe it or not there are men and women who are mentally twisted enough to believe they are doing the right thing when they poison children. They choose to ignore the fact that, by their dastardly acts, they can wipe the smiles off the faces of innocent and vulnerable children forever.

“A few powerful men have hijacked our economic, financial and political structure. They aren’t socialists or capitalists. They’re criminals. They created the culture of materialism, greed and debt, sustained by prodigious levels of media propaganda,” writes the Burning Platform.

Just when you thought the news couldn’t get any stranger regarding the disturbing state of the agricultural industry, it most certainly has. In an effort to slash costs and increase profits, livestock corporations have now begun feeding their cattle super cheap processed foods like cookies, gummy worms, chocolate, fruit loops and a whole list of candies. Fattening up the cattle thanks to a large percentage of sugar content and no real nutritional value, the disease-riddled cattle end up fetching a larger price for farm owners.

The fruit loops-fed cattle also may end up on your dinner table, harboring even more dangerous additives than even cattle fed a diet of corn. Before accounting for the new diet of cookies and candy, conventionally raised cattle meat contains oftentimes an excessive amount of antibiotics (now admitted to be harming human health internationally), artificial hormones such as Monsanto’s cloned growth hormone rBGH, resistant bacteria, genetically modified organisms (from corn) and other contaminants. Now, however, a few new problematic substances have entered the equation.

A new GMO study may very well change the way that the world looks at GMOs once and for all. Complete with shocking and very disturbing photos of rats with tumors larger than a golf ball in size, a new French GMO study has concluded that rats fed a lifelong diet consisting of Roundup-containing genetically modified corn suffered serious consequences. While the onset of tumors was the most obvious and damaging effect, the researchers reveal that the rats also received heavy amounts of damage to multiple organs.

As a result of the mass tumors, liver and kidney damage, it was concluded that around 50% of the males and 70% of the females died prematurely as a result of eating only Roundup tolerant seed or drinking water with Roundup as approved levels set by the United States government. In comparison, only 30% of males and 20% of females died prematurely while consuming traditional alternatives. The San Francisco Chronicle rightly states that the study ‘rocks the GMO debate’. NaturalNews, one of the first alternative news websites to report the study, explained just what this means for you and your family:

“This is the same corn that’s in your corn-based breakfast cereal, corn tortillas and corn snack chips.”

Are you and your family on the wrong side of a bet?

When the US government ignored repeated warnings by its own scientists and allowed untested genetically modified (GM) crops into our environment and food supply, it was a gamble of unprecedented proportions. The health of all living things and all future generations were put at risk by an infant technology.

After two decades, physicians and scientists have uncovered a grave trend. The same serious health problems found in lab animals, livestock, and pets that have been fed GM foods are now on the rise in the US population. And when people and animals stop eating genetically modified organisms (GMOs), their health improves.

This seminal documentary provides compelling evidence to help explain the deteriorating health of Americans, especially among children, and offers a recipe for protecting ourselves and our future.

Crouching Produce Stand, Hidden Medicine Cabinet

Fruit is not only enjoyable to eat -- as it should be, considering the very word fruit stems from the Latin word frui, meaning "to enjoy, use" -- but it also nourishes and protects the body with powerful, built-in medicinal activity. Fruits are by design a "perfect food," intended to entice animals to consume them in order to help disseminate their seeds, for instance. This means that unlike grains, and other lectin- and anti-nutrient-rich organisms, e.g. wheat, tomato, beans, we humans have chosen to make into our food, fruits are less likely to come equipped with "invisible thorns," as they benefit as much in being eaten as we do in eating them. Also, like our now hard-wired biological dependence on obtaining vitamin C from external sources (unlike most animals we can not produce it from glucose), countless millennia of fruit consumption has left our genetic infrastructure in need of continual resupply of many of the key vitamins and phytocompounds they contain copious quantities of.

Neurosurgeon and researcher Dr. Leif Salford has conducted many studies on radio frequency radiation and its effects on the brain. Dr. Salford called the potential implications of some of his research "terrifying." Some of the most concerning conclusions result from the fact that the weakest exposure levels to wireless radiation caused the greatest effect in causing the blood brain barrier to leak.

201209190936.jpg

Since he began his line of research in 1988, Dr. Leif Salford and his colleagues at Lund University Hospital in Sweden has exposed over 1,600 experimental animals to low-level radiation. Their results were consistent and worrisome: radiation, including that from cell phones, caused the blood-brain barrier--the brain's first line of defense against infections and toxic chemicals--to leak.

Note from CCHR: Though the psychiatrists quoted in the article below raise concern about two year olds being prescribed antidepressants, they seem to have zero problem with kids six and older being prescribed antidepressants despite the fact that 99 international drug regulatory warnings and 119 studies have documented antidepressants to cause suicide, violence, mania, psychosis, hallucinations, diabetes and death. 99 drug regulatory warnings and 119 studies
have been issued on the dangers of
antidepressant drugs

The prescriptions were for common drugs such as Prozac, Lovan, Zoloft and Endep. Brisbane based child psychiatrist professor Brett McDermott said the figures are very concerning.

“In my service, you would never use an antidepressant for someone younger than six as a treatment for depression,” he said.

“There’s no evidence that antidepressants work in someone aged two to six with depression.

“It also gets in the way of other forms of therapy which we know are helpful.” whether they’re receiving a benefit,” he said.

Nine’s investigation also reveals the overall number of scripts for antidepressants is on the rise in children between the ages of two and 17.

Are Statins Worth the Risk?

Cholesterol lowering drugs called Statins generated $34 billion in sales in 2007 and have raked in over a quarter of a trillion dollars since they were introduced two decades ago. A new study reported in the NY Times links the use of statins with a higher risk of developing diabetes. This is just the latest in a seemingly endless list of side-effects that continue to be discovered from the long term use of these drugs.

Here's a small sample of the risks of statins: acute kidney failure, liver dysfunction, cataracts, muscle weakness, rhabdomyolysis (a breakdown of muscle fibers into the blood stream), acidosis, sexual dysfunction, immune system depression, neuropathy, frequent fevers, increased risk of cancer, anemia, pancreatic dysfunction, and increased risk of stroke. [For additional research GreenMedInfo contains an archive of studies on 300+ adverse health effects associated with the use of statin drugs]

Part of the problem is that people fail to realize that statins (like almost all prescription drugs) are not meant to be taken long term – they are a short term temporary "band-aid" while you make lifestyle changes (diet, exercise, nutritional supplements) to return your cholesterol levels to an optimal range.

Could the active ingredient in marijuana, responsible for its characteristic "high," help turn the tide against the accelerating Alzheimer's epidemic?

A remarkable study published in the journal Molecular Pharmacology in 2006, found that this long vilified plant contains a compound with not one, but two therapeutic properties ideal for addressing both the surface symptom (memory problems) and root cause (brain plaque) of Alzheimer's disease.[i] This is an ironic finding, considering that the prevailing stereotype is that using marijuana "fries" the brain, leading to debilitating memory issues.

Researchers discovered that the psychoactive component of marijuana, Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), both "competitively inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase (AChE) as well as prevents AChE-induced amyloid β-peptide (Aβ) aggregation."
