Brain Damage from Low-Dose Al Adjuvant and Gardasil

| | Comments (0)

This is an important new study of aluminum hydroxide (AlOH) adjuvant and Gardasil vaccine compared to saline placebo. This study is the result of a collaboration between the Shaw research group at the University of British Columbia and the Shoenfeld research group at Tel Aviv University. Dr Yehuda Shoenfeld is an internationally known expert on autoimmune diseases and editor of high-impact journals on autoimmune diseases. He has investigated ASIA syndrome (autoimmune syndrome induced by adjuvants) for many years. Dr Shaw’s group played a relatively minor role in this study. Most of the work was done by the Shoenfeld group.

Ministers launch urgent inquiry into NHS officials' second jobs at drugs firms

Government announces "urgent investigation" as Telegraph reveals how scores of officials involved in assessing which drugs are given to patients are also acting as paid consultants to pharmaceutical companies

Ministers have launched an urgent inquiry into the practice of NHS staff being paid by drugs companies, following a Telegraph investigation.

This newspaper has revealed that more than 130 NHS officials involved in assessing which drugs are given to patients are also acting as paid consultants to pharmaceutical companies.

Scores of health service staff, most of whom are managers or other senior officials, are receiving generous fees to sit on “advisory boards” for drugs firms whose products they are responsible for considering on behalf of the NHS.

Alistair Burt, the health minister, said: “These are very serious allegations – an urgent investigation is under way and action will be taken against any NHS staff attempting to influence purchasing decisions in return for payment, gifts or hospitality.

Curb Antibiotic Use in Farm Animals

Curb Antibiotic Use in Farm Animals
New guidelines to curb the overuse of drugs in food animals are inadequate to deal with a growing crisis

In 1945 Alexander Fleming, the man who discovered penicillin, warned that overuse of his miracle drug could make bacteria immune to it. He was right—and not just about penicillin: the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has estimated that antibiotic-resistant bacteria infect more than two million people a year, at least 23,000 of whom die. A significant part of that overuse, the cdc says, involves feeding the drugs to the animals we eat. Farmers do this not to cure or prevent disease but simply to make livestock grow bigger and faster.

Actor Mark Ruffalo Calls Out Monsato: You Are Poisoning People

It’s not an ordinary routine in which someone gets to meet the head of Monsanto, therefore, Mark Ruffalo was aware and knew he had to take advantage of speaking up for millions when he addressed the company’s CEO, Hugh Grant.

Before a segment for the movie Spotlight with Mike Rezendes, Ruffalo was in the green room watching Grant on screen giving “slippery non-answer[s] to every question he was asked.”

Many of our most commonly used drugs, from painkillers to antidepressants, are dangerous and are killing us off in large numbers, says a leading researcher visiting Australia next week.

Peter Gotzsche, a co-founder of the Cochrane Collaboration, the world's foremost body in assessing medical evidence, arrives in Australia on Monday for a whirlwind speaking tour warning Australians about their use of prescription medications.

He estimates that 100,000 people in the United States alone die each year from the side-effects of correctly used drugs. Similar figures are not available in Australia, although the Australian Bureau of Statistics estimates that 3000 people died after complications with medical and surgical care in 2012.

Wag the Zika...

Wag the Zika...
By KP Stoller, MD – www.incurable-me.com

While the situation with the Zika virus is still evolving, there is a real danger in blaming a lone virus for any problem. It is not unlike the obfuscation of the real problem with Polio, where a single enterovirus (there are many) took the blame for a paralysis that would not have been possible if the population had not been well applied with DDT.

While that assessment of the Polio epidemic may be controversial, the cases of non-poliovirus caused Acute Flaccid Paralysis climb in parts of the world that apply pesticides with abandon. I wrote about this in the paper: AD, AFP, ALS and DDT published last year http://journalijcar.org/sites/default/files/issue-files/0151.pdf

Genome editing is a weapon of mass destruction.

| | Comments (0)

That’s according to James Clapper, U.S. director of national intelligence, who on Tuesday, in the annual worldwide threat assessment report of the U.S. intelligence community, added gene editing to a list of threats posed by “weapons of mass destruction and proliferation.”

“The crisis in today’s health care system is deeply rooted in the interwoven history of modern medicine and corporate capitalism. The major groups and forces that shaped the medical system sowed the seeds of the crisis we now face. The medical profession and other medical interest groups each tried to make medicine serve their own narrow economic and social interests. Foundations and other corporate class institutions insisted that medicine serve the needs of ‘their’ corporate capitalist society. The dialectic of their common efforts and their clashes, and the economic and political forces set in motion by their actions, shaped the system as it grew. Out of this history emerged a medical system that poorly serves society’s health needs.”
