Aspartame and Drug Interaction

The following pages are taken from a chapter on aspartame and its interference with drug action: "Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic" by H. J. Roberts, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.C.C.P.  www.sunsentpress.com

This is some of the most important information you could read on aspartame (NutraSweet, AminoSweet, E951, Canderel, Benevia, Naturataste, Spoonful, Neotame, etc.) because it can easily take your life if you are using prescription drugs.

More than 2 million people in the US with 100,000 fatalities suffer drug interaction, and I feel certain a great majority are due to the fact they are using aspartame.https://www.worstpills.org/public/page.cfm?op_id=4 I've been warning people for over two decades off this addictive, excitoneurotoxic, carcinogenic, genetically engineered drug, teratogen and adjuvant. It damages the mitochondria, the powerhouse of the cell and interacts with drugs and vaccines.

Artificial Sweeteners: Avoid Them At All Costs for Breast Health

Avoid these sugar substitutes for breast cancer healing, prevention and a healthy, chemical-free lifestyle.

If you are on the natural healing path because of a breast cancer diagnosis or you are simply living a lifestyle that promotes Breast Cancer prevention, then you probably already know the drill when it comes to sugar. What is cancer's best friend? You guessed it- sugar.

"It's been known since 1923 that tumor cells use a lot more glucose than normal cells," says says Don Ayer, Ph.D., a Huntsman Cancer Institute investigator and professor in the Department of Oncological Sciences at the University of Utah. And a recent study done at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center proved how easy it is to kill cancer cells: simply deprive them of glucose.

What in the world can you turn to instead, then, when the craving for something sweet strikes? There are healthy alternatives to sugar and other high-glucose products; Stevia certainly tops that list. Unfortunately, there are also substances that may say they are safe on the label, but are anything but.

Chewing gum may have played role in teenager’s death, inquest told

Samantha Jenkins, 19, who chewed up to 14 sticks a day, suffered fatal convulsions that might be linked to consuming gum to excess, says coroner

A teenager may have died after consuming too much chewing gum, getting through up to 14 sticks a day, an inquest has heard.

Samantha Jenkins, 19, died in the arms of her mother days after being taken to hospital following a violent fit. Her body had failed to absorb enough vital minerals and large lumps of chewing gum were found in her stomach, the hearing in Swansea, south Wales, was told.

Her mother, Maria Morgan, 45, told an inquest she believed Samantha, from Llanelli, south Wales, died from being poisoned by aspartame or sorbitol – sweeteners found in some gum. “I looked through my daughter’s bags, drawers, and bedroom and I found hundreds of sugar-free wrappers and receipts with several packets of chewing gum on them,” she said.

The National Health Federation (NHF) is providing the wake-up call for the World right now. Like the founders of America, were the early voices not raised persistently and aggressively compelling others of like-minded spirit to action there would be no America. NHF is waging war on the front lines to protect the terrain of the human soil, the modern battle-ground, and the terrain that influences the sanctity of our bodies and our children's bodies.

In the past people said the pen was mightier than the sword. In the future, it will be the chip that is mightier than the sword. The economy, not weaponry, is the new criterion for a superpower...In the future, it is clear that a superpower can maintain its status only through economic might (versus weaponry as in the past), and that in turns stems from science and technology." Dangers of Aspartame Poisoning

201303040948.jpg

The dangers of aspartame poisoning have been a well guarded secret since the 1980s. The and history of aspartame is conclusive as a cause of illness and toxic reactions in the human body. Aspartame is a dangerous chemical food additive, and its use during pregnancy and by children is one of the greatest modern tragedies of all.

Why haven’t you heard about aspartame poisoning before? Partly because the diet industry is trillions of American dollars to corporations, and they want to protect their profits by keeping the truth behind Aspartame’s dangers hidden from the public. When NutraSweet® was introduced for the ‘second’ time in 1981, a diet craze revolutionized America’s eating protocols and a well-oiled money machine was set into motion changing modern lifestyles.

As few as one diet soda daily may increase the risk for leukemia in men and women, and for multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma in men, according to new results from the longest-ever running study on aspartame as a carcinogen in humans. Importantly, this is the most comprehensive, long-term study ever completed on this topic, so it holds more weight than other past studies which appeared to show no risk. And disturbingly, it may also open the door for further similar findings on other cancers in future studies.

The most thorough study yet on aspartame – Over two million person-years

For this study, researchers prospectively analyzed data from the Nurses’ Health Study and the Health Professionals Follow-Up Study for a 22-year period. A total of 77,218 women and 47,810 men were included in the analysis, for a total of 2,278,396 person-years of data. Apart from sheer size, what makes this study superior to other past studies is the thoroughness with which aspartame intake was assessed. Every two years, participants were given a detailed dietary questionnaire, and their diets were reassessed every four years. Previous studies which found no link to cancer only ever assessed participants’ aspartame intake at one point in time, which could be a major weakness affecting their accuracy.

Sugar and artificial sweeteners are so accessible, affordable and socially sanctioned, that few consider their habitual consumption to be a problem on the scale of say, addiction to cocaine. But if recent research is correct their addictive potential could be even worse.

Almost 40 years ago, William Duffy published a book called Sugar Blues which argued that refined sugar is an addictive drug and profoundly damaging to health. While over 1.6 million copies have been printed since its release in 1975, a common criticism of the book has been that it lacked sufficient scientific support.

Today, William Duffy's work is finding increasing support in the first-hand, peer-reviewed and published scientific literature itself. Not only is sugar drug-like in effect, but it may be more addictive than cocaine. Worse, many sugar-free synthetic sweeteners carry with them addictive properties and toxicities that are equal to, or may outweigh those of sugar.

Have We Stripped Our Food Of Its Story?

|

Food has lost its story. Stripped of context, meaning, and reduced to its

molecular composition, ancient recipes for health and joy long to be recovered.

Recipes are ancient prescriptions for health, loved and labored into being by our ancestors. Responding to necessity and a primordial desire to experience pleasure and satiety while doing so, those who came before us perfected their edible relationship to their land and their culture. The result: codified combinations of nutrients, tastes, smells, modes of preparation and sourcing, which we know as recipes, and without which we would not be here, alive today reflecting on the subject.

If food, as Hippocrates said, is medicine, knowing and applying the proper dose and combinations – the recipe – will make the difference between a food, a dish, being healing or harmful. In this sense, recipes are prescriptions. In fact, the first literal use of the word 'recipe' was in the 1580's when for the French it meant (and still means) medical prescriptions. Handed down initially through oral tradition, recipes contain information no less fundamental to our well-being and survival, than the DNA within our genome.

Recipes provide a set of instructions from our generational predecessors explaining with just enough specificity what ingredients and combinations are required to nourish our bodies, but open-ended enough to guarantee creativity and variation based on individual and regional preference (For example, there is no universally correct molecular weight for a "pinch" of salt ). Generally speaking, for a recipe to live on past its conceptual life, it must continue to produce pleasure on the palate and ensure deep, authentic nourishment. In fact, a good meal will poignantly activate all the senses, reminding us through the enjoyment of food, that embodiment itself is not just a physical thing. As C.S. Lewis said "You don't have a soul. You are a soul. You have a body."

Diet Soda, the Silent Killer?

What is this thing called diet soda? Here are the ingredients of one of the best-selling brands, Diet Pepsi:

CARBONATED WATER, CARAMEL COLOR, ASPARTAME, PHOSPHORIC ACID, POTASSIUM BENZOATE (PRESERVES FRESHNESS), CAFFEINE, CITRIC ACID, NATURAL FLAVOR

My favorite line on that list is the "preserves freshness" that follows potassium benzoate. The freshness of what, precisely? The caramel color? Not likely—caramel color for most colas comes from a chemical reaction between sugar, ammonia, and sulfites at high temparatures. Or maybe it's the phosphoric acid? Or the least plentiful ingredient of all, the unspecified "natural flavor"? In plain English, diet soda is artificially blackened water tarted up with synthetic chemicals. That anyone ponies up cash for such a thing surely counts as one of the food industry's greatest marketing triumphs.

  • 'When I don't have it my family says I'm a nightmare to be around'

A man has told how a lifelong addiction to Diet Coke has come to dominate his life.

Darren Jones, 38, can't go a day without downing 18 cans of the soft drink - the equivalent of 42 litres a week, costing him around £3,000 a year.

Over the past decade his habit has gradually worsened and now he can't leave the house without a bottle of Coca Cola.

(NaturalNews) If you've been diligently avoiding the consumption of chemical sweeteners like sucralose, you may be alarmed to learn that researchers have found sucralose lurking in the drinking water supply of more than 28 million Americans.

A recent study tested water samples from 19 water treatment plants in the United States serving more than 28 million people. Researchers analyzed the samples for the artificial sweetener sucralose. Samples tested positive for sucralose in the source water of 15 out of 19 plants. Furthermore, treatment failed to remove the sucralose from the drinking water: sucralose was also found in the finished drinking water from 13 out of 19 plants.

Researchers determined that current water treatment methods fail to effectively remove sucralose from our water supply, leaving millions of Americans to unknowingly consume this artificial sweetener every single day.

This is the candid confession of Dr. Herman Koeter, head of the European Food Safety Authority, after resigning from the corrupted agency. His conscience got the best of him.

PICTURE THIS: A powerful multinational gang of criminals has been operating for years completely protected from prosecution by any enforcement agency. Finally the count of murders and maimings has raised a public outcry that can’t be ignored, so a special government tribunal is charged to investigate the atrocities.

The tribunal is given voluminous evidence with a multitude of victim’s testimonies that defy contradiction and confirm the guilt of the gang. 20 “experts” are to weigh the evidence, well qualified to understand the technical nature of the matter at hand. Things are looking up, soon the carnage will end and EFSA, the European Food Safety Authority, shall announce to the world that aspartame is a deadly neurotoxin, unsafe for humans in any form.

But eleven of the “experts” have connections with the aspartame industry, are enriched by it. Somehow the evidence is “lost”, So EFSA declares this chemical poison is safe as rain. safe for babies, safe for children, safe for pregnant mothers, safe for diabetics, safe for everybody!

On 6/11/2011 the watchdog organization, Corporate Europe Observatory (CEO) named the eleven industry flacks in the aspartame whitewash. The report begins: ”New research by CEO has identified conflict of interest among the scientific experts advising EFSA on the safety of food additives, including the controversial sweetener aspartame. Not only were EFSA’S own rules on conflicts of interest breached in some cases, but that these rules fail to protect the public from potentially industry-biased opinions on food safety.” Think of it this way: the Godfather is on trial, and half the jury is in the Corleone Family.

For 30 years the American Diabetes Assn has rejected all evidence that aspartame is deadly, you see, they've been on the take from the poison producers whom they really represent. At last the truth is confessed by two reports at an ADA Conference. Like they say: "Murder will out". See my analysis following their confession.

Another Study Says It: Diet Soda Leads to Weight Gain

Study after study has told us to watch out for those empty, sugary calories in sweetened drinks like soda, but two new studies remind us about the dangers of diet soda - they too can lead to weight gain and may raise your risk for developing diabetes.

The studies were presented at a diabetes conference this weekend, and together they show that drinking diet soda may just be another thing in our diets that is making us fat. One study followed 474 older-age diet-soda drinkers and found that their waistlines grew 70 percent more than non-diet-soda drinkers, even when the researchers accounted for differences in age, physical activity level, and diabetes status.

The news gets worse; read on for how bad a two-diets-a-day habit is for your waistline.

November 2011 should see steviol glycosides get regulatory backing for use in food in drink products in the European market, according to a European Commission (EC) representative.

Bringing industry up to date on the regulatory timeline, Wim Debeuckelaere from the Directorate General for Health and Consumers (DG Sanco) told delegates at the Stevia 2011 conference in London last week that the natural sweetener is on schedule for sanction by the EC in “November or December at the latest.”

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) gave a positive safety opinion on steviol glycosides in April 2010, in line with the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA), which approves the use of steviol glycosides at 95 per cent purity or above.

A sweetener used in Diet Coke is to undergo a safety review over fears that it has harmful effects on human health

An artificial sweetener used in Diet Coke is to undergo an urgent EU safety review.

Aspartame is ingested every day by millions of people around the world in more than 6,000 well-known brands of food, drink and medicine.

However, it has been the subject of a number of studies that appear to show harmful effects on human health.

One recent study linked diet drinks containing aspartame to premature births, while another suggested it could cause cancer.

To date, health watchdogs, including the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the UK's Food Standards Agency (FSA), have ruled out any link to ill-health.

But after several MEPs asked for a new investigation following pressure from European health campaigners, EU Commission officials have now asked the EFSA to bring forward a review that had been planned for 2020.

CHICAGO, IL- Former Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, strolled into Chicago on May 17, 2011, for a speech at the globalist think tank, Chicago Council on Global Affairs. The audience was mainly comprised of your average "Coke drinking, McDonald's eating" yuppie, ready to bow down to Mr. Rumsfeld. They clapped and cheered as he approached the podium and delivered his globalist speech. The praising of such a criminal was mind blowing, and something had to be done. Mr. Rumsfeld's "accomplishments" have caused humanitarian suffering worldwide.

This is not the first study to link diet drinks (aspartame) to heart problems or the metabolic syndrome. The reason is very clear. Aspartame notoriously causes an irregular heart rhythm and interacts with ALL cardiac medication. At the same time It damages the cardiac conduction system and causes sudden death. This is well explained in a report by world famous Doctor H. J. Roberts, M.D., http://www.wnho.net/aspartame_and_arrhythmias.htm Here is the FDA's own report, and notice that change in heart rate is so prevalent its #15 of the 92 symptoms, http://www.mpwhi.com/92_aspartame_symptoms.pdf Also, note that death is listed. FDA must call it the ultimate symptom! Further the issue of obesity is so relevant that even it has been linked to diet drinks. This study at the University of Texas was reported in 2005.
